About The Vintage Fashion Emporium - Surry Hills , Sydney

One-of-a-kind vintage clothing and accessories, Sydney’s premier vintage clothing destination!

The Vintage Fashion Emporium, located within the Sydney Antiques Centre (Australia’s oldest antiques
and collectibles hub) was launched in November 2010 in response to the increasing demand for vintage
fashion.

After rapid growth the Emporium now boasts eleven permanent stallholders and has become a favourite haunt for
party-goers, race-goers, stylists and general shoppers alike. The Vintage Fashion Emporium is surely becoming the
energetic heart of Sydney’s flourishing vintage fashion scene.

The eleven permanent stallholders – including Coco Repose, Empire 47, Keep It Secret, Look What the Cat Dragged
In, Lou Murray Vintage, Over the Top Vintage, Retro Station, Vintage All Sorts, The Vintage Drawer and Zipper on the
Side – source their clothing and accessories from all over the world. All together they are committed to genuine vintage, lovingly cared for, matched only in variety of styles and eras.

Slinky 1930s slips for nights out as well as nights in? Check. 1940s tea dresses and suits for Prada loving ladies
without the couture budget? Definitely.

Or how about cinched fifties party dresses for those wanting to emulate Elizabeth Taylor’s taste making looks from A
Place in the Sun? Or sixties wiggle dresses for the modern day office worker dying to unleash their inner Joan
Holloway?

There are even classic seventies separates for hip Jane Birkin devotees, unique hats for race days and weddings,
bags, gloves and costume jewels galore for ladies who just want to stand out in a crowd plus collectible designer
labels for the high fashion lover too.

Gentlemen get a look in as well with plenty of work-wear (jackets, pants, shirts and ties) as well as day-wear (T-
shirts, jeans, sweat-shirts and hats) suitable for the hip, the dapper or just the sartorially inclined.

dress or if you are planning a Great Gatsby or Mad Men themed party.

Theres also high tea, courtesy of GG Espresso, is only $25 per head and includes tea or coffee, cake and scones, sandwiches and a glass of sparkling wine.

In its central location, in a building steeped in the history of stylish Sydney, the Vintage Fashion Emporium’s
