The Willow Clinic offers general osteopathic treatment to patients of all ages. Vanessa is very experienced in cranial and paediatric osteopathy.

Osteopathy is a long established and widely recognised system of diagnosis and treatment. It examines the structure and function of the body and how the parts of the body (bones, joints, ligaments, discs, muscles, tendons and nerves) work together. A breakdown of the body's normal working patterns can result in unnecessary stress, strain and pain.

An osteopath assesses each patient's individual, normal, mechanical, working pattern and by gentle manipulation of bones, joints and soft tissues, works to remove restrictions which may be preventing normal mobility, blood flow, nerve supply and muscle activity. This in turn will help to alleviate the symptoms.


Vanessa Fisher trained and qualified as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy, the UK's oldest school of Osteopathy, where she went on to lecture.

At The Willow Clinic we offer specialist treatment for a variety of conditions including back and neck pain, slipped discs, sciatica and nerve irritation, work /repetitive strain injuries, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, sports injuries, headaches, postural changes and back pain during pregnancy and problems in children.

Vanessa offer's general osteopathic treatment for adults and specialises in the treatment of pregnant women and babies.

Vanessa is experienced in cranial and paediatric osteopathy, helping to relieve a wide-range of problems in babies and young children and assisting many women during and after pregnancy, helping their bodies as they undergo changes to accommodate for the growing foetus and then through the early days and weeks of motherhood and beyond.
