TheMusic.com. au is the online arm of The Music, Australia's premier street press title covering the music and entertainment industries.

The Music began life in 2011 as a unification of four existing separate magazines published by Street Press Australia: Drum Media (Sydney and Perth), Inpress (Melbourne) and Time Off (Brisbane).

Those titles spent decades, and countless pages and words, writing about and photographing the independent and mainstream Australian music industry, a history we are proud to continue creating to this day.

Some of the country's pre-eminent music commentators, photographers and more have cut their teeth in our magazines, and we continue to be highly supportive of both emerging and established local artists in several regards.

We're a fiercely independent media company comprised of die-hard music and pop culture fans who only want to do right by the many musicians who bring Australian audiences so much joy on a daily basis.
