Hands up to volunteering to help #farmers suffering from the effects from #drought. Today we are joined by a group of parents and their children at the #threadtogether warehouse. They are packing clothes to be sent to #trundle in #NSW where #farmers are facing #tough times with the effects of the drought being felt by not just mums and dads but also their children. Thank you @kidsgivingback for bringing this wonderful group to us and making a difference to their peers in rural communities. @ Sydney, Australia

Spend a few hours helping us to sort clothes, package orders for delivery and maintain quality stock. and make a tangible difference to people in our community doing it tough.
Where: Thread Together – Banksmeadow. 1/1 Anderson Street. ... Dress: Casual Bring: Refillable water bottle
Duties and responsibilities: • Help sort and count new stock arrivals • Help pick up and pack stock for orders • Help to keep the warehouse neat, tidy and organised
Knowledge, skills and experience • A positive, can do attitude • Work as part of a team and independently • Ability to judge an item of clothing on its suitability for purpose

How did you spend your weekend? These Dads and Daughters spent the day at Thread Together, taking part in a Kids Giving Back #Food #Clothing #Shelter Program. They prepared meals, sorted and packed clothes and then dropped them off at a local shelter. Thank you all for bringing great energy and making a difference.

It’s through collaboration that we are able to help close to 100,000 people this year. We ❤️ hearing the stories and seeing the happy faces that resulted from our joint venture with Anglicare SA and the resulting visit to Flinders University

We are in awe of these amazing people who booked a Program For Purpose at #threadtogether. They spent the day learning about how we collaborate with charity partners to help more people. They helped us pack, sort and count BRAND NEW clothes to go to people in need. We loved spending the day with you. SPRING CLEAN! The warehouse is getting the full spring clean treatment today at #threadtogether. The floor is being cleared, dusty boxes moved, emptied and piles of clothes are packed away.

You jumped on board at Thread Together bringing life, energy, joy and community spirit to Thread Together’s work.
