With more than 40 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, much of it owning and overseeing internationally acclaimed restaurants and major food events, Newcastle born restaurateur and chef, Scott Webster, has always dreamt of creating a relaxed “food stop” for food lovers and home chefs.

Webster, who has lived by the motto – “Life is too short to eat bad food” is helping ensure this is now easier than ever to achieve for Novocastrians.

Throsby Street Providore is the result of many years of planning and even more years of experience and offers customers an opportunity to enjoy the talent of the skilled kitchen team with both ready cooked and ready-to-cook meals, as well as a wide range of other options.
