I. G. K. Victoria is headed by Tino Ceberano Hanshi, Chief Instructor of Australia and John Ross Shihan, assisted by Lambros Kallianiotis Sensei.

Tino Ceberano Hanshi is a 9th dan international karate master and is referred to as the father of karate in Australia. He was a direct student under Gogen Yamaguchi Hanshi, the founder of Goju Kai. We operate directly under Tino Ceberano Hanshi and are the Headquarters for I. G. K. Victoria. Head instructor is John Ross Shihan and is assisted by Lambros Kallianiotis Sensei, who both started training directly under Hanshi 35 years ago. The name "Kushin Kan" translates as free spirit dojo. Hanshi passed this name onto John Shihan & Lambros Sensei just as Gogen Yamaguchi Hanshi passed it onto him. This school carries on Tino Ceberano Hanshi's legacy, teachings and martial arts technology, which he developed through a lifetime of experience in the martial arts. We practice traditional Goju karate with realistic applications. There are no politics and no egos, just good old fashioned hard training!
