Here are a few pics from our work Christmas Party last Sunday! This year we thought we’d mix it up so the Restore Health & Wellness team went to a Japanese cooking class (Cooking with Yoshiko). We made 3 different types of sushi rolls (thin rolls, thick rolls and inside out rolls) and gyoza!! We also enjoyed matcha milk, miso soup and dessert. 🍱🥟🍚🍵🍜🇯🇵 Big thank you to Yoshiko and her team for a great afternoon!

I have had some great success stories this year treating patients undergoing IVF and it's so important to keep up to date with current research on the subject. . Big thanks to @chinabooksau & Sun Herbal for putting on a great IVF seminar over the weekend.

One of my frequently used supplementary techniques: moxibustion. . Moxibustion involves placing a lit compressed unit of the Chinese herb moxa over acupuncture points. The heat produced has the effect of stimulating the targeted point. . Moxibustion can help strengthen the immune system, fight off colds and decrease inflammation. This makes moxa useful for the treatment of chronic illnesses, fatigue, allergies and lowered immunity 🤧... . Additionally, moxa stimulates blood flow to the uterus and can be effective in the treatment of delayed, painful or irregular periods. . If you think moxabustion might be just what you need to get over the last of that winter cold ❄️ Book online or call up today.

Wow what a week already! I've been sending out a lot of these cards to all our labour induction patients. 👶🏻 . . Did you know acupuncture is a great way to induce pregnancy? Acupuncture induction is both safe and effective, working harmoniously with the body to deliver a natural birth with no adverse side effects for mum & baby.

1 week into winter and I'm already starting to see its effects on my patients. Sinus issues, colds and flu, ear infections, you name it I've seen it! The good news is you can alleviate these symptoms with Chinese herbs and acupuncture as well as home remedies (honey, lemon, ginger tea anyone?)
This article discusses the best Chinese herbs to remedy winter ailments - a good read. I highly recommend everyone takes the proper steps to beat the cold. 🌧❄️
