Extremely disappointed. When we dropped the car off in the morning we mentioned that the car was pulling to the left and we'd like them to check the wheel alignment and to call us if it needed doing. We received no call during the day, just a msg letting us know that we can collect the car. On pickup we were charged for the wheel alignment (as apparently it's in the fine print that it's not included in the capped price serving). We won't be returning.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

I would not recommend this place to anyone that holds value in their car. This service centre is an absolute joke, and a waste of time and money.

I took my car in for a 95,000km service. I figured it would be worth while paying more by going to an authorized Kia service centre, but I was so wrong. When I initially dropped my car off, I put my keys on the desk, and had at least four apprentices take my keys and run off with them. It seems there are more apprentices than mechanics here. That was the first warning sign I ignored.

When it came back to me (and that's after receiving calls all day advising me that more work would be needed on my car; and of course with extra charges) things didn't feel right. It made this loud vibrating noise straight from the engine every time I would accelerate. It felt sluggish and weak. I continued to drive for a week or so, until the noise became so loud and unbearable that I called hoping they could rectify whatever it is they did.

Not only was the receptionist rude about it, but she told me that I would be charged if it was unrelated to the service, even though the problem only started after their service. Fair enough, a business has to run somehow.

When I dropped it off, I attempted to show the man at the desk the noise on a video, and he dismissed me, telling me he hadn't heard a thing. That same day, when I went to pick it up, not only was the car in the same position that I had left it, but the odometer was exactly the same, meaning they didn't even attempt to drive it to hear the noise I was complaining about.

But they apparently 'checked it out' that day, and notified me that it indeed, was their fault. They told me they had tightened the timing belt on my engine too much, so they readjusted it. I picked up the car, drove it, and once again ...the same loud, vibrating sound from when I dropped it off.

Annoyed, I called again, to get the same response I had been getting from these people. That they can check it out again if I wanted, but that they checked it already and nothing seemed wrong so there wasn't really a point.

I didn't even feel I should bother leaving my car with them from that point. They didn't seem to care.

So just last week, I decide to take my car to a different mechanic. He took a look at it. There were two main issues with this car after my service with Tom Kerr. He was even nice enough to show me and walk me through what was wrong. The first thing, there was a lose pipe hanging against the engine, so that every time I would drive, this pipe would knock against the engine, making a huge rattling, vibrating noise. And the second thing, even more annoying, was that he had to adjust a lose bolt in the power steering, because it wasn't properly readjusted during the service.

Do not waste your money here. If you want to take care of your car, take it to a mechanic that will actually give you and your concerns the time of day, because this service centre obviously couldn't care less.

I went to get my car services here as it was close to work. They mentioned they would have a courtesy bus avaiable for me so I'd be able to drop my car off in the morning and the bus would be able to take me to work on time.
The courtesy bus driver was rude and not to mention complained that I, having not known much of the gladesville area, said that where I worked would be the peak of traffic and that I should of told him earlier so he could drop the others off first as the area I worked in would be too busy for him and too hard for him to turn around as it was peak hour traffic. He continued to huff and puff about the situation like a little kid. I, being the customer and not living around that area, expected someone in customer service to provide me with the highest duty of care of to which he should have been trained in.
I mentioned this to the employer who worked there when I picked my car up afterwards.

I will not be returning here.
