Textile artist in felting: wet and needle felting, machine quilting, machine and hand embelishing

I live in a rural setting in the Central West NSW with views of the Great Dividing Range, beautiful sunsets and night skies so clear and clean.
I use nature as a guide in my textiles - Colours and texture.
I attended a workshop on wet felting in 2009 and was totally hooked. The versatility of wool just amazed me. My husband and I built a studio in our backyard in 2013 so I now have my own woman cave to work in.
I love to experiment with nuno, dying, hat making, resist felting and felted art. I offer workshops at my studio covering all kinds of felting and dying. I like to mosaic, patchwork, make jewellery, and being in my garden. I love my silky chooks and my hand raised simmental cow Jessie.
I have travelled around Australia recording inspiration with photography as I go. The colours, the textures, the landscapes.
