We represent all manner of small businesses - tradesmen, doctors, dentists, consumers, and small companies across a wide variety of industries. We understand the issues for small businesses and we are very good at fixing their problems.
We know you are time poor - you don't really have time to travel to a lawyer's office and be charged for it, so we operate almost entirely on-line. You don't need to come to our office: tell us the problem by phone and email, and email us copies of the invoices and other documents we need to help you. This allows us to operate at a very low cost and on a no win / no pay basis.
People try to rip off consumers and tradesman all the time. Tradies Legal does all the work to recover money for consumers and tradesman who have been short-changed by people they deal with.
No dispute is too small. If you are owed $100, we will help you recover it as if it was $100, 000. Too many people try to dud tradies and consumers for small amounts and think they won't be chased because it is not worth it. We have changed all that. If you are owed $100, we will chase it and get it paid for you.
We can go back SIX years. So it is not just current debts. If you still have the documentation to show you are owed money from any time in the last six years, Tradies Legal will chase it for you.

If you are a consumer and have been overcharged or you did not receive what you paid for, Tradies Legal will take action to get your money back.
If you are a tradie and a customer decides that for no good reason they don’t want to pay you, or they tell a story that they don't want to pay the whole amount because of an imaginary problem with the work, Tradies Legal will take action to get you paid what you are owed.
If we think you have a winnable case, we will run the legal action for you at no cost to you. On successful resolution of the case, you receive the full amount of damages recovered. The damages are the amount agreed if we settle before court (normally the case) or the amount awarded by the court.
The fee for Tradies Legal is paid by the other side, not you. Our fee is the amount the other side has to pay at settlement or the costs awarded by the court, if it goes that far. If your matter settles before going to court, you receive the agreed amount and we receive the amount agreed as legal costs.

1. Your name and address. This must be the person or persons involved in the contract. In most cases, it will be you, or you and your partner or your family company.
2. Provide the name and address of the person who we are to take action against. It will probably the person who has issued an invoice or receipt, or who accepted the quote.
3. Describe briefly the circumstances causing the dispute.
4. Attach a scanned copy all of the documents which detail the transaction. This normally includes quotes, invoices, contracts, forms, emails and letters.
