Easy to comolete application. Competitive pricing. Didn't need to claim on this trip but have on a previous trip the process was easy and quick.

On a recently trip to Bali, we wanted to hire a scooter. The information contained in the Travel Direct Insurance policy about what to do before we left and what to when we hire, was very helpful. We went on our holiday, did all the right things and thankfully there were no mishaps.

I bought this insurance because the insurance provided by my bank was not available to me-my credit card was hacked. Was I satisfied-yes, I didn't have anything go wrong and feeling secure that TID was there to back me was gratifying.

I always use Travel Insurance Direct and on the rare occasions I've had reason to lodge a claim, they have responded promptly. I'm happy to keep coming back each time I plan an overseas trip.

Travel insurance is travel insurance, but you "Welcome Home" email is a very nice personal touch. Looks like you are ahead of the game.

I would recommend Travel Insurance Direct, the ease of policy completion and email support was great! Price for cover was good value for money. Luckily I didn't need to make a claim.

I bought this policy in November or December then promptly forgot about it.
About a week before I left I got into a panic and again started to research Travel Insurance. I was about to purchase from the company I had previously used many times when I recalled going through this process before and then going back through past emails I found the one I purchased from your company.
While your email on my return was unexpected and appreciated I would suggest that your customer service should send an email a week or two before your customer leaves on their travels. This will remind those who bought about their policy and the correct procedure to ensure if they need to claim they had the right documentation and receipts.
A reminder and a Safe Travel greeting would be good customer service.

Had started my travel when I completely forgot to purchase travel insurance. TID not only offered cover midway through my trip, but they also offered cover at an affordable price! Will definitely be using them for my next trip!

They used to be good, but since they changed underwriter the support has dropped dramatically. I have been using them for about 10 years now an won't ever use them again. Past claims went though no problem, now they just want the money at the start and then don't want to hear from you again. Don't waist your money or health, go with a company that won't try to screw you.

It is becoming clear to me that this company is only in it for the money and in no way to provide an actual service that you rely on.
I had an issue whilst I was travelling and rang the emergency number that was switched off or out of range - mobile number
I have a small claim and am being made to jump through hoops to the point where it's barely worthwhile
Seriously just spend the extra and get covermore or at the very least aami
This cover is ok if you don't actually need anything

Didn't help me when I needed it, no follow up on claim. I wouldn't use this company I wasted my time and money. Now I have to pay for my medical bills plus give this company my money for free-

WE always use this insurance and have made claims with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.
