So true, you have options, i.e. you can try to make heads or tails out of an airline or OTA website, read and understand the fare conditions and deal with some unknown person at the other end of the phone if things go awry, learn that you've booked through a travel agent in India and your insurance won't cover you, OR you can have it all done for you by ME, someone who values your booking and understands how important your holiday downtime is. I know what I'd choose.

Surface of the moon, or......?

Hello from Las Vegas, it's been crazy, fun, insane, a sensory overload and a great learning experience, sampling all (or most) of what this city that never sleeps has to offer from great restaurants, shopping (I'll have to take everyone's word for that), shows, incredible sightseeing and adventure, I even slipped a $1 into a pokie (& lost it just as quickly).
Tonight I was meant to be flying to Honolulu with a stopover for 8hrs then on to Sydney, however Hurricane Larry had ...other ideas and I am now on a flight up to Los Angeles to connect on a Virgin flght home to Sydney (I'll be home 12hrs earlier so am not complaining at all).
Thankfully I know an awesome Personal Travel Manager who was able to drop everything and help me make these changes on the fly... :D
Back at my desk on Monday, won't feel real but am really looking forward to some normality & a green smoothie or 2!

Morning walk and swim, now set for "Success". #TM2018HNL

Aloha!
Each year our network of Personal Travel Managers come together with TravelManagers Australia National Partnership Office and our preferred supplier partners for our annual conference. This year we're off to Honolulu with "Success" as our theme.
Amongst various conference sessions and learning opportunities we'll have a team building exercise (I believe it's a Race around Waikiki) and hear from our keynote speaker Turia Pitt - I'm just a little bit in awe of this wo...man and can't wait to hear her inspiring story.
I will be in conference in Honolulu from 16 to 20Aug followed by 5 nights in Las Vegas as part of the HootLegends 2018 incentive group.
Watch this space for updates on the exciting activities they have planned for us in Las Vegas!
It's not all fun & games as I'll still be checking emails and have access to my phone in an emergency so keep those enquiries coming through.

Thought I'd have a play in one of the many online travel websites to see what their airfares were like compared to what I could get, I didn't get far before I got cranky! Their airfares seemed cheaper than what I was quoting on face value, but when I fell down the rabbithole and clicked 'continue' to see what happened I didn't get any further than 'woops the fare has changed' - how boring!
If you're tired of too many mouse-clicks to get nowhere, then please let me know, I'm... used to deciphering the garbled airline speak and will find you the best 'real deal'.
