Reviews
Beautiful setting and thoughtfully designed campsite. Lovely staff. They're not joking about Dingo's wondering around btw and put everything away at night unless you enjoy the monotonous pecking of brush turkeys... Def not a holiday park but more facilities than nearby National Park sites plus you can have cook fires (if there isn't a local ban of course!). Camp by the dunes or in the bush with free beach style showers and washing up taps dotted around plus free drinking water. Firewood a bit pricey and $17 pp a night for camping is only just worth it due to down to earth, unspoiled vibe and well maintained facilities. We were lucky to have a whole area to ourselves apart from the wildlife. I could see this place being chocca in school hols. Not sure a 2WD would access every spot.. stayed early Nov mid week.
Awesome place to stay. John made our stay super comfortable, thanks mate 😊
Great, helpful staff. Tim makes fantastic coffee. Fantastic all round camping spot.
Treach Camp is in such an awesome spot - close enough to civilisation, shops etc, but secluded enough to feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. The views of the stars and the Milky Way are breathtaking, and well worth staying up late for! The campground itself has ample facilities and amenities - clean toilets/bathrooms, BBQs, drinking water etc, and you have plenty of choice in terms of camp sites (and cabins if that's more your thing). There's even an on-site coffee hut! Jon who runs the place is also a top bloke, and will go out of his way to help you and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We'll definitely be back soon!
Fantastic place to stay. No reception which is fantastic. Great beaches, great cabins. Only issue is road in. Very rough.
Awesome camping. Fabulous setting for 'real campers'. Short drive to beautiful beaches.
Amazing place. My girlfriend and I loved every second of it. Very clean amenities, great spots to set up camp on the property, walking distance to a secluded beach up some sand dunes, 2 other amazing beaches just a short drive away and the staff are very friendly.
Only negative was a group of people were partying on our first night till 5am and woke us up a few times. Apart from that it was a great weekend away. We will be back for sure.
Great Spot to unwind!! Best part is no phone reception so you can forget everything and just relax! Great spot and great little park
Coming from the UK I am used to being allocated a patch of grass with a power outlet and far too organised to feel like real camping. This place is the real deal. I made the effort to give these guys a 5 star review because the staff helped me out first night when I didn't have the correct adapter for my gas bottle (rookie mistake) they lent me one of their bottles to get me through the night. Trying to think of some constructive criticism is hard! Possibly they could allow the showers to have a cold button as sometimes the showers were simply too hot (very noticeable on hot days!) Some people may want less of a walk to the beach, but that is not a negative of the camp, its just a feature that keeps away less active people. ;)
