I would like to introduce myself and my business Tree Folk Tree Care.
I have a CERT III in Arboriculture and CERT III in Conservation and Land Management. I am a Fitter and Turner by trade. I have worked in the tree industry for 3 years mainly with a large Tree company in Newcastle.
I am a competent tree climber, and have wide experience with general tree work and Tree felling. I gained storm damage experience during the 2015 east coast low storms.
I have been in business since the 15th of April 2015, I am a sole trader and I employ my 19 year old son Gavin who is attending TAFE, studying Arboriculture and is covered by workers compensation. I have $10, 000, 000 in public liability insurance and I am covered by sickness and accident insurance.
My main business is in Tree Removals and pruning (urban), Hedging and general gardening, Handy man jobs, pump and small machinery repairs, light fabrication, full tree climbing capabilities and Arial rigging.
I also offer bush /native area regeneration, tree felling (open area), weed management and a full re-planting service.
At this stage we have, to offer a Ute and trailer, a wide range of chain saws, pole saw and long reach hedger, full tree climbing and rigging kit.
I am committed to re investing in my business and I am constantly upgrading my assets as required on a job by job basis.
