Today is Early Childhood Educator appreciation day. The event is held every year on the first Wednesday in September. The event is held to ensure that educators receive well deserved recognition and appreciation for their contribution to Australia’s future leaders. Our children.

We decided to dedicate book week to our farmers and take the opportunity to learn about farming and the impact of drought. Thanks to all who took part and made such generous donations for drought relief.

Just wanted to share my delight when watching these beautiful children play for hours in nature without a toy in sight. Using their imaginations, creativity, problem solving, collaboration, communication, skills of every level the children play and learn through real engagement.

A Walk in the Bush... This morning we went for an adventure. To our beautiful bush. It was like returning to an old friend, reconnecting with our special place. I wonder if this is how it feels for the children too. We take to the bush and I imagine what it would feel like to be so little in a bush so big. Lifting your legs high over the logs. Looking up at the endless cloud touching trees. Just magic.

When you turn up to preschool wearing the same clothes.. Treehouse will be safe today with two Marshall’s on Patrol! #woofwoof

What a wonderful week we have had.. Emergency Services Week! SES, NSW Ambulance, NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW. An incredible opportunity to meet our local emergency service personnel and talk about what their roles are in our community.. Plus we got to check out all of their special equipment and vehicles!
