This is my Latest artwork sent to the Wynne prize 2018 being hosted at the Art Gallery of NSW. My inspiration was the love of colours of the outback when I did a trip a few years ago & how the vastness of this amazing landscape has a very spiritual feel. It has always remained with me.

I had a great week last week, I met a lovely fellow from Darwin who was traveling down the East Coast of Australia holidaying and visiting Galleries. He purchased one of my favourite pieces, I loved using all the colours and getting the texture and movement into the piece. My inspiration for this original piece came from my travels into the Australian Bush, so pleased it is on its way to a beautiful home. #australianart #blueysbeach #greatlakes

Happy New Year to all my art friends! Today was great in the Gallery, selling two colourful pieces of work. I hope they bring as much joy to the new owners as they did to me creating them.

Painting entitled "Coming through the Waterfall " sold to a lovely couple from Woolongong. It looks lovely in your home, I hope you get as much joy out of it each day as I did creating it.

This is my last commission for 2016 which I delivered just before Christmas. I feel very grateful for being asked to fill peoples homes with my work, I was lucky enough to create 8 commisions in 2016 and saw many other paintings from my Gallary go to new homes both here and overseas. In 2017 i will be embarking on a new advernture which will take me to Italy for another art project and exhibition on the beautiful Isle of Capri. Localy Im excited to be working on brining an exhibition together in my home town of Maitland in collaboration with my Dad Desmond Poole to celebrate his 90th birthday, I will keep you all posted!
