What a shot ๐Ÿ‹
Each year between May and November, the Southern Hemisphere Humpback whales migrate from the Antarctic and head north to their breeding and birthing grounds in the tropics.
There are only a few months left with these gentle giants until they head back south so be sure to get a glimpse before they do. There are some great viewpoints dotted along to the Tweed Coastline to spot these beautiful creatures!

"There are the Tweedโ€™s 37 kilometres of beautiful beaches and headlands, just over an hour from the Gold Coast. But perhaps most exciting of all is the areaโ€™s emergence as a paddock-to-plate dining sensation..."
What do you think? Is the Tweed Australia's next gourmet destination... ๐Ÿ˜

Have you ever been to Springbrook National Park? ๐Ÿž
This 61.5kmยฒ National Park is full of 'must see places'. It's an hour from the Tweed Coast but well worth the drive - perfect for a day trip!
Stroll to Goomoolahra Falls or 'Best of All Lookout' (our favourite). Or enjoy the return walk to the 'Warrie Circuit' which is a 17km return track.
... 'Natural Bridge' is also must see! It's a family friendly walk where you'll come across large Strangler Fig trees. If you've never seen these giants of the forest, you're in for a treat. Natural Bridge also features a picturesque rock formation, formed by the force of the waterfall over the basalt cave where glow worms can be visible at night โœจ
And after all of your exploring you can treat yourself to a stop at The Fudge Shop Springbrook for delicious fudge and coffee and you can even pick up a little souvenir to take home ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ

The owners were rude to us & all we heard come into reception trying to check in, the bins were majorly overflowing causing ibis etc to be in their element. Kids have no rule on this park so can just run riot with skate boards, bikes, screaming etc. Facilities were VERY basic & road noise like sleeping next to the M1 unless you one of the few that manage to get a waterfront site!! Camped at 20+ sites & definitely the worst & won't be returning or recommending! Only gets 1star for being on the water!
