Two Stars Collide

What I thought was a star colliding with another star back in 1993 may now have been a meteor exploding in the atmosphere. This is an educational Facebook page, to educate.

Around 1993 or 1994, I actually cant remember the exact year, but it was in early October, I saw two stars collide. I was at a friend's birthday party in a sleepy little town called Diddillibah in Queensland Australia. We were all sleeping on the tennis court, and being the insomniac I am, was wide awake when all the others were asleep. It would have been around 2-3am in the morning and I was star gazing when suddenly I saw a shooting star, then BANG! ! ! The shooting star had collide with another star which was still. The impact looked like a firework.

The reason I am posting this on facebook is because I have never met, nor ever heard of anyone having seen two stars collide before. So I think that makes me pretty special. So I am dedicating this page to all things "star like". . . I hope you enjoy.
