We were trying to buy XV model, put 1000$ deposit. They’re offered us %11.99 interest rate for car loan with st George bank. When I checked online st george bank car loan was 8.5%. We wanted to cancel the finance ask for our bond back. After like 2 weeks and “fair trading”process they accepted to our bond give back only one condition. They wanted me to delete my 1 star rating on google reviews. Which I did. I changed the rating gave them 5 star. Got our bond back. How ridiculous is. Definitely not recommended.

The worst people ever! It was my first time trying to get a car & it was horrible. its just another case of the big people stepping on the little people.
the sales guy was kind but..
They suck you into a contract that you can't get out of. A contract that's not even subject to finance. Ask for a 1K deposit. Waiver your cooling off period without asking. NEVER return your calls, when they say they will.
The finance company is ridiculous. They gave me the highest interest there is. when I wasn't happy with that, they couldn't care. They told me they were with a customer and couldn't stay on the phone. I am a customer too! They lied about many details in my finance application. I didn't even sign any documents for the finance before they applied for the loan, including the banks privacy agreement.
They were very arrogant, couldn't take me seriously & just couldn't care that I was unhappy.
They told me there was no way to cancel the contract. Why the heck would I sign any contract like that. Told me that if I cancel I will have to pay up to 5k fee and lose my deposit.
After a few stressful days, I told them I couldn't get my own finance and they had to cancel it because how else could I pay for the stupid car and said they will return the deposit.
BUT! firstly they called and said. "we think your partner left a bad review on Google. Before we give your deposit back we ask him to take it down."
so basically said told me they wont give my money back unless we delete a review on Google. Blackmailing me..
do not trust them! Read more reviews they are horrible.
NEVER EVER go to Tynan motors.!

I would like to give a 5/5 rating for our dealer Hamid.
Most of the dealings I had with him was over the phone however my family viewed, road tested and picked up the car and also very much liked the fact he treated them with courtesy and respect.

I could not fault him any way and would recommend him for future dealings.

Bought a car here through Smartsalary. Car delivered with seat broken (not folding) and still hasn't been replaced or repaired. Whenever I call the service center or booking they just passed the call through somebody then promise they will call but but they don't. Poor customer service once they got you money.

My experience at Tynan Sutherland was amazing, i really appreciated the service from Ian Zammit. After talking to a well-known Subaru STI dealer in the western suburbs and leaving the showroom feeling confused and puzzled, Ian was very helpful in explaining everything and even went out the way to make my experience the best.

My car was ready on arrival to view and it was already registered, ready for immediate delivery which is something you never see at any dealerships, even having the car in stock was asking a lot from a lot dealers but Tynan proofed the others wrong by having the best cars, cars that people look at buying and having them ready in stock.

I am very pleased with my experience and i will recommend all my family and friends to purchase and do business with Subaru Tynan and Tynan Motor Group in Sutherland.

Hi George,

My experience with the purchase of the Subaru Forester is terrible.

We came to the dealer on Saturday 27/08/2016 looking for the a demo car which your sales manager Stefan Frida advise available to purchase, at the dealer there is no car and Stefan advise the car was sold but he have another Demo Forester in my price range, so I ask where is the car can we have a look at it before making our decision and Stefan advise the car is currently in detailing and he try to call the guy which he didn’t answer and Stefan advise it can take up to 4 to 5hours to complete.
I agree to buy the car subject to viewing the car so I paid the deposit and hoping the car will be ready by Monday or Tuesday for viewing and if we happy we can pick it up at the same time.
Monday come and I try to call Stefan to check whether the is ready for viewing and pick up not available second call again voice message left message, third call same no answer, so all day Monday.
Tuesday I call again Stefan still not available so I spoke to Andrew Houston he advise that the car won’t be available to view or pick up until next week.
I was a bit confuse because the car is a demo car and Stefan advise that the car was in detailing on Saturday so why does it take 2 weeks to look at the car and pick it up as I already organise the cheque for the remaining balance. So I call Stefan on his mobile an landline and no answer all day Tuesday so that afternoon I call my friend spoke to him about it and ask him if he could speak to his friend who working for Subaru Head Office see if he can help my situation.

So on Wednesday morning I receive a text message from my friend said someone from Subaru head office will call the sales manager to escalate so by 9 am I receive a call from Stefan himself advise the car will be ready to be pick up that afternoon.

I was happy with the car and I was promised to get the weather shield from Andrew Houston in 2 weeks’ time as he advise he’ll help me to get it so I follow up 2 weeks he advise I haven’t got it yet so I didn’t bother as I know your salesman are BS.

To sum it up the experience was 1 out of 10 and the 1 is for the car not the service.

Please note I’ll put this feedback in Google review to let people know what kind of service I’ve receive from Subaru Sutherland.

The service, advice and assistance that I received from Stephan and Emmanuel at Tynan's Subaru was first class. They even followed up after I purchased the Subaru to check that everything was all right and if I had any questions about the cars operation and technical features.
