Underground Edge offers an encouraging, fun and energetic environment for students from the age of 3yrs right through to the BIG kids (the Adults! )

Underground Edge classes offer an encouraging, fun and energetic environment for students from the age of 3years right through to the BIG kids (the adults).

Dedicated to the hip hop /street and jazz-funk styles, the teachers and students share the same interest and passion for dance and music.

In 2017 we have put out an Expression of Interest for any students interested in taking an Acro class. When we are shown sufficient interest we can then schedule and confirm the class.

Classes are conducted in the happy little suburb of Windang. We currently run from the Senior Citizens Centre hall.

We kicked off in October 2012 and together we have created a wonderful journey full of learning and improving, laughter and friendships.

We host an End of Year Showcase in November or December, held at the Wollongong University.


Yearly registration fee of $30 per student


Registrations take place in JANUARY every year.
In 2017- Our registration date is Monday 23rd of January, between 5pm and 7pm- at 50 Kurrajong street Windang.

Existing students may register by email anytime throughout January.
Classes begin mid FEBRUARY, giving you a chance to get the kids settled in to their new school year.

530pm- Primary boys 8 to 12 years- Hip Hop /Street
610pm- Pre-Seniors 11 to 13years Hip Hop /Street mixed class
650pm- High school beginner-Intermediate level Hip Hop /Street
740pm- Ladies or Adults beginners-Intermediate level Hip Hop /Jazz-Funk
830pm- Finish

430pm (Expression of interest) 2 years to 3 years Baby Jazz
5pm- Kindy Girls Funky Jazz- 5 and 6 years
530pm- Pre-Junior Girls Jazz Funk- 7 to 9 years
610pm- Junior Intermediate-Advanced (select students)- 7 to 9 years
650pm- Primary Girls Hip Hop /Street- 8 to 11 years
7. 30pm- Senior Intermediate /Advanced Hip Hop /Street
8. 30pm- Finish

Friday- Expression of Interest :
