United Field & Retrieving

Does your dog love to RETRIEVE things? Does your dog love to FETCH? Interested in exploring the natural abilities of dogs of the 'gundog' breeds.

United Field and Retrieving is a club made up of enthusiast who enjoy training and competing with their best friends, their dogs. Unsually, the breeds of dogs known as 'gundogs' like Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, German Shorthaired Pointers, Flat Coated Retrievers, Nova Scocia Duck Tolling Retrievers and more are the dogs used because they have a natural retrieving instinct. Competitions are held regularly and whilst a fun and relaxed atmoshphere is the norm, State and National Level competitions are also a goal. Help with training is available and new member are always welcome. Like minded people gather in the outdoors, often camping, for friendly competition and appreciation of great dog work.
