University Of Newcastle: A Social Study Of Humour Description

You're invited to take part in our psychological study looking at the relationship between humour and personality. This is a three part study, which involves first completing two 45 minute questionnaires and then taking part in a 45 minute face-to-face comedy workshop (located at the CALLAGHAN or OURIMBAH campus depending on which is closest to you), which will be a fun and interactive experience run by a talented upcoming comedian. YOU WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR YOUR TIME. If you're interested, please keep reading!

Humour is a very important part of human social life, and everyone is different in the ways that they use and respond to humour. We're interested in finding out how a person's personality and experiences affect the ways in which they use and experience humour, and how humour affects their experiences of others.

If you participate in our research, you will be given the choice of receiving a FREE $25 GIFT VOUCHER, or you can choose to be entered into a raffle to win ONE OF THREE $250 GIFT VOUCHERS!

*NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A STUDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEWCASTLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS STUDY! *
