Unsw Hero Program

The UNSW Hero Program helps prepare UNSW graduates to take on the challenges imposed by a rapidly evolving workplace by equipping them with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and most importantly confidence. The program's primary objective is to support the development of graduate capabilities of students to help transform them into rigorous scholars, entrepreneurial leaders, lifelong learning professionals, and global citizens. The program will provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful Work Integrated Learning (WIL) while undertaking their studies. The program focuses on building learning communities that equip UNSW graduates with the skills to thrive in employment. The program uses a three tier structure including; industry workshops; an innovative project and volunteering work experience. With the program concluding with a Service Improvement Conference where the students pitch their innovative solution to their peers, industry leaders, UNSW stakeholders and the UNSW community.
