Uow Debating Society - Swords

SWORDS is the University of Wollongong's Debating Society, and open to all past and present UOW students. We participate in Intervarsity debating tournaments and aim to develop our members public speaking skills in a community environment.

SWORDS practices both Australasian style (3v3) debating and British Parliamentary style (BP) debating.

We're also a hub of adjudicators and coaches for the region, with a roster of qualified adjudicators for the Premier's Debating Competition, HICES and the CSDA. If you need a judge for a debate or want to know more about our training days, we're always happy to help!
