Our Early Start researchers are about to begin a new study in the Early Start Discovery Space!
The study is being conducted in collaboration with Prof Tom Robinson from Stanford University and focuses on understanding the relationship between mobile phone use and parent/child interactions in public spaces. In the context of this study, the Discovery Space represents a ŌĆśpublic spaceŌĆÖ and provides a great opportunity for our researchers to gather information about behaviours, h...abits and practices.
The team will be recruiting around 150 children aged 3-5 years and their parents* to participate between 27th August ŌĆō 20th December, 2018. If you attend the Early Start Discovery Space on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays you may be asked if youŌĆÖd like to be involved.
Details of the study and what is involved with participating can be found on our website here: http://earlystartdiscoveryspace.edu.au/ŌĆ ”/early-start-mobilŌĆ”/
*Parents/carers and children are required to speak and understand English.

We wanted to let you know that we are updating our membership structure; simplifying and streamlining the types of memberships we offer.
At the heart of these changes is the desire to make the Early Start Discovery Space more accessible for everyone in our community, with new concession, discounted prices and memberships that are designed to reflect this commitment. Our pricing is based on the idea that adults and children are treated equally. All Experiences within Early S...tart Discovery Space are designed for children and adults to play and learn together so there is one price for every person over 1 year of age (babies under the age of 12 months play free).
When it's time to renew, we hope you will continue to enjoy your membership and we'll see you playing and learning into a new year. Please see our website for pricing information: http://earlystartdiscoveryspace.edu.au/ŌĆ ”/prices-memberships/

Great place for the little ones , but lacks in both size and things to do , as for the $15 per head , greatly overpriced , lollipops offers more for less . Our grand children had fun but doubt they will ask to go back anytime soon .
