Do you know that this spoon and fish are traditional tools for Gua Sha - a centuries-old friction therapy used in Chinese Medicine.
A practitioner uses these tools to stroke the body surface. It feels a bit like a firm massage. Gua Sha reduces pain and inflammation, improves healing and acts as an antioxidant. After treatment the skin shows a petechiae (or reddening) that disappears in a few days.

Being a Student Clinic it can be a bit hectic at reception with students running around, and there may be occasions when appointments are running late, the same as for any Doctors Surgery or Medical Centre. However the Qualified Practitioners and Student Practitioners are Great and provide an excellent quality of care and service to the Patients at very discounted rates.



The 4th Year Student Dilan that did my treatment was very courteous, kind and considerate as well as professional. Slightly needle phobic he took good care in his needling me and I quickly felt at ease and felt great later for a treatment on an ankle injury.
