NSW Managing Director of Icon Co and UTS alumni Julian Doyle (B. Building - Construction Management, 1995) knows what great construction project management looks like.
From the Old Clare Hotel refurbishment to the Palazzo Versace, Renzo Piano’s Aurora Place residential tower and Opal Tower at Sydney Olympic Park, Julian has overseen residential and commercial projects in Vietnam, Dubai and Australia.

Screen Australia spoke to UTS: Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences alumna Kodie Bedford (MA Creative Writing, 2013) about the big career breaks that led to writing Episode 2 of ABC TV's production of Mystery Road: "I'm now living as a full-time screenwriter, which I never thought I'd be doing".
The WA-born writer says, “stories have always been my escape, but they’ve also saved my life", and now her goal is, “trying to change perspectives on what Indigenous stories could be,”

At the 2018 Kennedy Awards for Excellence in Journalism last week we're incredibly proud to say that UTS alumni Lucy Cormack (BA Comm-Journalism, 2014) won Young Journalist of the Year!
And to top it off, the other two finalists in the same category are also from the UTS family: Sam Buckingham-Jones (BA Comm-Journalism & Int St, 2016) and current student Taylor Auerbach.
Lucy is a crime reporter for the Sydney Morning Herald, Sam is a journalist at The Australian, and Tayl...or is a senior producer at Nine's A Current Affair.

The iconic Frank Gehry designed UTS Business School is preparing to put on its first major musical performance.
