Uts Pasifika Society

We aim to provide an inclusive environment for Pasifika, fostering a network between students, alumni, staff & industry professionals.

The aims of the UTS Pasifika Society is to:

1. Provide a culturally inclusive and relevant environment for UTS Pasifika students to advance and celebrate their experiences at UTS, and to support their participation, retention and success as current and future UTS Pasifika students, staff and alumni

2. Build a UTS Pasifika alumni network which provides academic support, professional mentoring and networking opportunities for current and future UTS Pasifika students

3. Engage and educate the wider UTS community by raising awareness of Pacific Island communities and cultures, and an understanding of current affairs and issues affecting Pacific Island countries.

4. Raise the University's profile as an institution that promotes cultural awareness and appreciation for the Australian-Pacific Partnerships and commitments fostered by the Australian Government and Pacific leaders.
