Waited for over 2 1/2 hours. Noticed that doctors were picking and choosing their own patients and people who had arrived after me were seen well before me. Annoyed I approached the counter staff who denied the doctors practiced such techniques. The manager there had such an attitude and it truly does reflect down the line. My suggestion - Warringah Medical & Dental Centre. Two minute walk from vale and is run by capable admin staff and doctors!

I have been a patient of few doctors from this practice for over 20 years and have always received the best of care and service. The facilities have improved greatly as well. Occasional longer wait seems a minor issue given the quality of service provided and still bulk-billed.

The receptionists do not care about the people waiting in the room. They don’t care how long you’ve been standing there for, they keep chatting to each other about their personal life. Absolutely awful. Zero customer service whatsoever!! They make you feel like you’re interrupting their non important conversation about ‘the garage at my house is doing this and that... bla bla’ I don’t care serve your patients!!!!!

The practise manager there has disgusting customer service. I have been going to Vale for 15 years + there is always a 3 hour wait. The reception staff has always put my name in the list so i could continue working just up the road then i would come down about half an hour prior to being at the top of the list. This woman has extreme attitude, this time they refused to put my name in the list and I asked her why - she said this is how we have always done it, I said to her well not for me . This was the first time i had heard it was not policy. I asked her what was with the attitude and she lost it at me. Great reception staff pity about the their manager.

Saw a Dr here (dr C) - was so rude. When placed a follow up phone call I was told off "I have told you three times etc" - we are not children and don't need to be spoken to as such - when experiencing distress over a symptom that wasn't resolving with medicine prescribed. Got better help from Nurses Line. General wait time here is 1.5 - 2.0hrs. A star for the receptionists who have taken complaint seriously.

Terrible service. I booked an appointment 2 days in advance for 9pm. I booked an appointment as I don't have time to come to the walk in service and hard to get time to come at all. I arrived 10 mins early ready and the receptionist ticked me off and asked me to take as seat. There was no communication about if there was a wait time etc. After 40mins and seeing 5 other people (some with no appointment) go through, i went back to reception. I m quite pregnant and very tired I just wanted to know how many more people in front of me. If I'd known the wait time I would have rearranged another day. The receptionist told me he didn't know why I hadn't been called yet. I assumed he would relay this to the doctor then. Instead I waited for over a hours since my arrival only to see two people who had only just walked in go through. I ended up walking out as I couldn't wait any more and it didn't look like I may be seen anytime soon. I know sometimes there are delays, but this was people with no appointment being seen as priority. Why have appointments if the doctor can't keep them!? Why have a doctor with appointments deal with walk in at same time. Communication from the reception would have been helpful too. I now have to try and find the time again to get the doctors, I am very upset this happened. I will not be returning to this practice again.

Wonderful doctors but the reception staff and nurses leave a bit to be desired, they can be quite rude and often talk down to people.

Great that some still bulk bill, but individual GP's decide whether or not to. Arrived to find out the one I booked with was going to charge $75 for 15 mins. The website should show which GP's bulk bill and provide an option to select only from them. When booking with the app it doesn't say there is a fee until the very end and does not say what the fee will be. I think it should be more transparent.

Followup: Having switched to 'next available' and waited an extra hour, the GP was brilliant and there was no charge whatsoever.
