Vanilla Traders

We sell naturally grown Vanilla Beans and Vanilla Bean products directly imported from East Africa. 10% of all profits go directly back into support of subsistance farmers or food improving projects in East Africa.

After working in Tanzania over a three year period one of the founders of Vanilla Traders with support from other friends, decided to start importing the vanilla beans produced from earlier grower assistance schemes, to help raise the awareness of the superior East African Vanilla Plainifola. The growing of vanilla beans raises the cash flow to these subsistence farmers whose main alternative commercial crops are either bananas or coffee.

While the beans are superior, the growing locations are remote, and currently we are only known commercial importers, that we know of, of these beans from these areas, to Australia.
