Bowen Therapy technique works on the connective tissue or Fascia which covers the entire body. It holds your organs and muscles in place and is also the tendons and ligaments of the body. When the connective tissue malfunctions due to illness , surgery, poor posture or inflammation , it becomes tight and dehydrated. This causes pain which puts pressure on the nerves , muscles , bones and organs.
Bowen Therapy is a gentle cross fibre movement which helps re hydrate the fascia and informs the muscles to "go back to where they should be"
Bowen Therapy has a deep working effect. The therapy involves a series of very specific movements /sequences over the muscles tendons and ligaments.
It is highly beneficial for all types of pain, including chronic illness pain, after surgery pain, and unexplained pain.
