Poor quality food and disengaged staff. 2 similarly dissatisfying experiences.

Quite tired-looking, mostly due to old furniture and chipped tiles. and the place isn't very cosy. Limited menu options, but wait staff were reasonably friendly. Chips were served without any seasoning, but the serving was very generous despite being only a "small".

Nice friendly cafe serving good selection of coffees and breakfast menu. It gets a bit noisy and cramped as they tried to fit more tables and chairs.
The food is tasty and the staff were pleasant.

Best breakfast in the mountains. Good to see the Treasurer of Australia supporting the venue at breakfast.
Again the best in town for good homestyle food.

The food is good. We order five different types of foods, the Malaysian Chicken Curry and Thai Fish Curry are exceptionally good. I am surprise the in this small town the asia cooking is with high standard. The spiciness is perfect for me. This is also a perfect place for your lunch before going to Mt Wilson and Mt Tomah.

Crazy busy, but staff efficient and helpful. Enjoyed the pot pie on a cold autumn afternoon. No internal toilets, so need to brave the chilly public toilets in the adjacent carpark.

Stopped in at this cafe over the weekend and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It was busy which would normally indicate that the food is good but it was quite the opposite. The coffee was undrinkable and the eggs Benny was cold. My partner had the sautéed mushrooms, the bread was soggy and she only managed to eat half then felt sick for the rest of the morning.

Had lunch and breakfast there on our trip to the blue mountains. Good food and good ambience. Will recommend for a breakfast if you intend to stop at Blackheath.
