Sydney is a city of villages with every village having its own distinct lifestyle and unique personality.

We have crafted experiences in selected villages to show you their character and give you a taste of Sydney life. You will meet local characters, enter private spaces and leave with a cache of stories to share.

Our experiences have been crafted with solo travellers and visiting relatives and friends in mind. They are an ideal gift for visitors to Sydney and for curious Sydney residents.

My idea of Village Life Sydney was borne out of the challenge posed by Dr Robert Putnam in his book, "Bowling Alone" (2000). He asks today's entrepreneur to arrest the decline of "community" in society. Village Life Sydney is my response.

It also comes from personal experience. How wonderful it is to give my visiting parents the gift of a mid-week experience while we must head off to work.

Village Life Sydney is a social business. It has the mission of building new friendships and strengthening our villages.

All the research shows that meeting new people, being curious, being part of a community, and giving is good for our health and overall happiness.
