This is always an insightful and informative day.

We had a nice bunch from the Netherlands on yesterday's Wildlife Safari. We saw heaps of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, pademelon, flying fox, turtle and birds.
We also had to enact a wildlife rescue as we found a juvenile white headed pigeon in the rainforest, who wasn't doing very well. We called Wires Northern Rivers and took the little thing to the Vet, we are still waiting for its prognoses.

I helped out planting some koala food trees yesterday at Coopers Shoot. The 60 volunteers of all ages helped plant the 600 in no time. Thanks to Bangalow Koalas and Friends of the Koala Inc. for all their hard work saving our local koalas.

We had some nice ladies from Sydney, who were staying near Pottsville on yesterday's Beyond Byron Tour. If the pickup is not in Byron Shire, we are usually happy to do the transfer for a small added cost.
As they weren't staying in Byron we took them to the lighthouse, for a bit of whale watching, then we set off to Banaglow, Minyon Falls, Crystal Castle, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads then back to Pottsville.
Nice day, great scenery, loads of spring blooms and wildlife.

Looking for pademelon on yesterday’s Wildlife Safari, we saw 3 red legged pademelon. On our Wildlife Safari we visit 4 habitats and go for short walks to look for wildlife. We once again saw some very cute joeys on our Wildlife Safari yesterday. We started with the dry rainforest where we saw 100's of grey head headed flying fox. When then went to the eucalyptus habitat where we saw koalas birds, turtles and water dragons.
In the big scrub rainforest remnant we saw red legged pademelon plus eastern yellow robin, Lewins honeyeater, scrub wren, little shrike thrush.
We finished in the grassland and woodland where we saw eastern grey kangaroo an...d red necked wallabies and from the car on the way back to Byron we saw swamp wallaby.
Great day out

We had some nice ladies from Sydney on our Byron Bay Tour yesterday. We started at the Cape Byron Lighthouse, where we saw plenty of whales and dolphins. We then headed to The Farm at Byron Bay for afternoon tea and nice walk around the Farm.
From there we popped into Byron Bay Cookies then checked our Hammer & Hand - Jewellery & Metal Collective (Byron Bay).

We had some nature loving locals on our Night Vision Walk last night. They were treated to some great sightings including loads of pademelons (one with a joey), melomys, ring tailed possum, short eared possum, great barred frog, Nightcap Crayfish, micro bat, and a carpet python as it crossed the road on our way to the park.
