My name is Richard, I have been involved in radio since 1978 and I am proud to say I have now gained my licence on the 25th day of July 2006

My name is Richard, I am married to my wonderful wife Lynne (VK2FLMM) and we have two daughters, Samantha and Brianna.

I have been involved in radio since 1978 and I am proud to say I have now obtained my Amateur Radio Licence as of the 25th day of July 2006. I obtained my Amateur Operator's Certificate of Proficiency (Advanced) the old full call under the call sign VK2KRM.

I also decided to obtained a two letter call this year and as of the 16th April 2009 I can also be heard as VK2BD. This is particularly a special call for me as it was chosen by my wife and little girl, who have their own meaning to the letters BD
which in their eyes mean Brianna's Daddy and I am happy to say that my little girl loves coming down to the radio shack with me and playing around with the radios.
