Join Watters Gallery for an absorbing afternoon with artist Ken Searle who will walk us around his current exhibition, 'Building Babel work in progress' this Saturday June 2nd, 2018 at 3pm.
A celebrated chronicler of the suburbs of Sydney, Searle has for many decades, whilst exhibiting at Watters, displayed a sensitivity to the environment, especially a sense of the presence and movement of water. "The works travel through the natural and built environment that runs south an...d south-west from Botany Bay. This journey does not follow a simple linear narrative along compass points. Instead, images are reflected back and forth through time and space".
