We throw wedding parties, corporate events and random shindigs with a difference: each guest gets a turn behind the DJ decks to bust out their all time favourite floor-fillers. We’ll bring all the equipment & all the tunes and will be there to guide each Superstar DJ through their 15mins of DJ fame! Guaranteed to be a night of musical surprises and one where the dance floor is always packed – because every song is someone’s favourite…
WEDDINGS
What could be better than each of your guests – young and old – taking turns to rock the decks with their favourite tunes? Whether it’s your Gran donning some DJ headphones and busting out some freaky shit from the 1950s or your school mates dropping the anthems of your youth, there’s no way that the dance floor is ever going to be empty. Want to do a joint bride-and-groom DJ set where you play all your *special* songs? Of course! Need a professional DJ to warm things up or close off the night? It’s all included in the price baby!
CORPORATE
Have a work do to remember by letting us come to your office and set up a party with a difference: one where everyone takes turn to grace the DJ decks and play their favourite tunes. Imagine the sight of your MD rocking some DJ headphones and dropping some hands-in-the-air bangers. Imagine the thrill when that quiet guy in IT reveals a penchant for RNB slow-jams… Want to do it in pairs and groups? Why not! It’ll be a night that’s talked about for years and be an event where everyone gets a chance to shine. It has less WHS risks than a sporting activity and needn’t necessarily involve copious amounts of alcohol. Probably.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We’ll contact all your guests and get details of their favourite three tunes (or more / less depending on the duration of the event). We’ll then come to the party with top quality DJ gear, speakers and lights and give everyone as much or as little help as they need to be a Superstar DJ. If you need a “proper” DJ to warm things up or close things off, we’ll be there to do that too!
BUT NONE OF MY GUESTS KNOW HOW TO DJ - WON'T IT SOUND TERRIBLE?
Absolutely not! No experience is necessary and “proper” mixing of tracks is actively discouraged. Unless your guests are interested in doing a progressive house set (unlikely), then it really won’t matter if all the mixing they are doing is hitting “play” on one track as another fades out. It really can’t be over emphasised the amount of joy that a person feels when a crowded room is dancing to “their” tracks. Equally, the fact that everyone will know the songs that are being played are someone’s favourite tunes will mean the dance floor will always be packed. So what if someone makes some “out there” selections?? That’s all part of the fun!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We have packages to suit all budgets. Factors that influence the price include: how long your party lasts, the number of guests and how far we need to travel. Discounts available for charities, not-for-profits and weird /unique parties. Get in contact and we’ll come back to you with a quote.
