Saying no is something that a of us struggle with. Saying no nicely can have enormous benefits for our time, wellbeing, and yes our finances.
I often use the popular *question “is this a hell yes?” .....and if it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no.
*not sure who first made this popular, but to be clear it wasn’t me.

How can you support a woman in your life? Be it work, friends, family or a random act of kindness to someone who needs a boost. I’ll be looking for ways to role model my giving and supportive side.

A great article for those of us who spend too much money on clothes thinking we have to wear a new outfit every time we have something "special" on! Maybe wear the outfit that you love wearing, or that everyone else loves to see you in! Advice for me as much for everyone else.....now about all those shoes....mmmm baby steps!

Now a First Aid Safety Chick. I highly recommend taking a first aid course, you never know when you might need to help a family member, friend or stranger. If you are in Sydney the trainer at CBD Colleges was fantastic.

Christmas shopping started and this plate is the best present so far.

Did you make you bed today? In the last week I keep seeing blogs, books and mentions of things successful people do, and making your bed in the morning keeps popping up!
Which I got in the habit of doing many years ago.
... So why make your bed? According to the experts one reason is by completing one activity, even though it's small, you have set yourself up to get stuff done. The ripple effect again.
Another reason is that no matter how your day went, especially a day that didn't go to plan, when you go to bed you see something that you achieved, instead of a messy bed adding to the days woes.
So once Hugo the pug decides to get up, I'll continue my habit of making the bed every morning.
