Wesley Family Centre, Nepean

Wesley Family Centre, Nepean offers a range of FREE service to young people 12-18 years living in the Penrith, Blue Mountains , Hawkesbury and Mt Druitt.

WFCN has a range of programs that address the needs experienced by local young people however we also have a “no wrong door policy “which means that if we are not the right service for you we will do all we can to link you in with the most appropriate one.

Our Reconnect Program provides Case Management to young people who:

- Have recently left home or are at risk of leaving home
- Having difficulties at school or not attending school regularly
- Having difficulties at home

Our Adolescent and Family Counsellor provides a safe place you to talk about issues that are troubling you like:

- Family issues
- School / bullying issues
- Self esteem / self harming / self confidence
- Anger
- Or you feel you just need to talk to someone

Our Mt Druitt Youth Case Worker is available to help you identify the changes you want to happen in your life and then assist you in developing strategies to make those changes happen. Changes can be focused around things like:

- School and home issues
- Bullying
- Self esteem and confidence building
- Managing your anger
- Building better relationships with friends and family
- Linking in with other services

Our Streetsmart Youth Outreach Program is a mobile outreach van that provides recreational activities within the local community. Some activities include DJ workshops, sporting activities, art / creative activities and a free BBQ.

Street smart is currently in the following locations

Kingswood Park
Mondays 3pm -6: 30pm Stewart Park, Illawong Ave

Willmot
Tuesdays 3: 30pm - 6: 30pm Willmot Reserve

South Windsor
Wednesdays 3: 30pm -6: 30pm , Park on cnr George st and Campbell st , South Windsor

Our staff also run and participate in a variety of in school programs, community events and fun recreational outings during the school holidays
