This branch needs more staff during lunch break (12.30 pm- to 2.00pm) as there are few people who come for inquiries during this time . I was asked to wait after standing in the queue, but nobody turned up for 15 minutes. When I checked, I was told it is better to come the next day as all staff are busy. Not happy with their service today..

Visited Brach to make a foreign payment, despite showing all my ID's they were insisting on showing me all rules in banking manual.

Trying to speak to a business banking person. Was made to wait a while and have the front service person running to and fro between some video call with a business banker and me waiting out side. One question at a time and really wasting my time. The customer service person was literally being the messenger. Seriously. Just give me a quick answer about accessing a business banker. I'll talk to them about my details not the front desk person who has no clue about the products I require.
Not using Westpac ever again

Extremely poor service at Burwood branch. This branch even didn't deserve the 1 star rating. I would like to rate it zero if I could. Went there asking for creating a new account. Got told by teller there to sit to wait for someone to do that for me. I sat there for half hour no one even asked me anything or told me when I could be served. I ended up with nothing but a 40 minutes waiting time then I left. I went to Rhodes branch and got the account created in 15 minutes.

Had an issue withdrawing a certain amount of cash at Westpac Strathfield. Ended up at Westpac Burwood were the staff went out of their way to help me fix my situation. Very friendly and considerate

Very poor customer service i came to update my name and they asked me for my id where 10 mins before i was in Commonwealth bank updating my name without and id. So the manager explained that his head office said that i should hv an id so i left and went to another westpac and they without drama did it for me just some questions as Commonwealth did and not to mention the girl in front couldn't speak proper English she couldn't explain that bringing an id was in their policy but she was trying hard oh well she work for westpac how funny and the other guys said go do it in your area so less job for him

Very bad customer service. Even wait for 2 hrs but no one entertain and at last tell me sorry we can't assist you today . We don't have representative. Now definitely I will change my banking to another bank. It happens with me 3rd time over here.

Worst customer service ever ! I was served by a person named Raj who is so good at her work she only follows protocol of the organisation but doesn't remember the values which the organisation states . I hold an account with Westpac and went for a document verification for overseas loan , it's the same documents that I had given to open a bank account account with them but unfortunately they can't confirm the credibility of my documents , if my credibility is questioned then why bank with westpac.
Before even looking at the documents I was told " you know right I cannot verify your documents if I wish not to do so?" I was taken back for a moment by what she said , she then checked with her manager and decided to follow the protocol of not verifying my documents .
This is heights of stupidity , when you can accept my documents to bank with Westpac then why not verify my documents.

Counter people very friendly but a horrible bank will not accept credit account application unless you transfer all you banking with them ie cannot be with other banks

I've never been treated as poorly as I did today. The people are rude and condescending and for the person 'helping' me to storm off after speaking to me in such a disgusting way shows how unprofessional they are.

After this experience I will be looking to bank elsewhere.

Terrible customer service! Lady on the phone didn't even pretend to try to resolve my issue. I was told to call back when some other team member is back in the office!
I then called headoffice and they helped me out straight away!

I went earlier to my local West Ryde branch where I had an encounter with a teller who was having a rough day, I had to exchange coins for notes, I had a few bags for some reason the teller made it difficult for such a simple request that one night think, short story version I left disappointed and headed to macquarie centre to see if they had the coin machine, at first entrance I was greeted by a lovely lady who I had explained what I needed and within seconds directed me to a teller by the name of Maan who helped out imensly and did exactly what I needed do be done at the west Ryde branch, the service was great and was outta there within 10mins. ....cheers Maan 5 out 5

The young girl teller deposited two different cheques in one transaction (combined the amounts in a total) to our company's trust account without any description shown on netbank.

Contrary to this gentleman's experience, the staff were extremely helpful to me. I arrived on my lunchbreak, told the staff I didn't have long to sort things out, they moved very fast to photocopy the documents that I provided and said they'd sort out all of the paperwork for me. Since then the online banking has been brilliant, and there are plenty of ATM's

I have been with Westpac for over 10 years. I have been following my banker between branches, but I adore the team at Wallsend. They are friendly and professional. I always go to this branch now. I also find it very helpful to be able to use the ATM to deposit cash and cheques after hours.
My only issue is the opening hours, but I just work around those.

I called Westpac Auburn at least 10 times and left 5 messages for them to call me back as they short paid me but no one even bothered to call me back. I am a business customer and was ecpecting better service however when they at times accidentally pay extra money they call me back straight away.

It is a very good Bank in Australia and it is a big 4 bank in Australia.

We like this bank and every one can withdraw their money very conveniences.

Once they are going to shopping and they can get money from Westpac.

1-Lack of training in customer services-it is the 21st century and you still need to queue up standing on your feet .
2-The place is dirty and depreciated and moaning for an urgent makeover.
3-Front desk is there but no staff member is willing to stand there. not sure why.
4- Think twice before committing to be their customer.
5- If you have time in your hands and patience in your mind then this bank is suitable for you.
For their credit i have to admit they have nice and modern ATM machines.

You would think opening a bank account with internet access would be easy here. Think again. The staff are obsessed with selling insurance, financial advice etc. Getting them to concentrate on getting your bank account opened correctly is nigh impossible. I now have a bank account that is linked to me but inoperable over the internet. Have been trying now for 3 days to get it fixed and at every opportunity I am being asked to go into the branch for reasons the staff cannot explain to me. Presumably they want to have another crack at selling me insurance.

This Ingleburn branch was good up until about a year ago, now the branch has a cheeky Indian lady that hides every time customers are lining up. She pretends to work when she's really doing nothing. Some workers go to lunch at the worst possible time - ie when most people need to bank. The ques are always lengthy and if your lucky, you may have 1 person serve you within half an hour. The management of the the staff is the worst I have ever seen compared to any industry - no common sense left, honestly.

Coin machine swallowed my card and did not issue a receipt on Saturday 20th August. Was told the funds will definitely be in my account Monday 22nd in the morning.

Was told I would receive a call before 9am Monday 22nd Agusut - have left a message and sent two emails - no reply.

Now 4pm, no funds., no calls.

Finally got through to speak to someone and was told funds won't be in my account until Wednesday - what an absolute joke.

Currently researching to bank with someone else.
