Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter

This afternoon the Westpac Life Saver #RescueHelicopter responded to reports of a female who had taken a fall in #Bungabbee National Park. The helicopters medical team was winch inserted into the site and the patient was extracted out and flown to the #GoldCoast University Hospital in a reported stable condition.

This morning the Westpac Life Saver #RescueHelicopter was tasked to #Mallanganee to assist a male who had suffered a serious cardiac condition. The helicopters medical team assisted #NSWAmbulance paramedics with the stabilisation of the patient before being flown to #Lismore Base Hospital.

Late on Friday afternoon the Westpac Life Saver #RescueHelicopter was tasked to #RoverPark camping area at #SandyHills, 30km’s east of #Tenterfield where a male had been injured in a motorcycle accident. Paramedics and the helicopters clinical team treated the patient who had received a leg fracture. The patient was flown to #Lismore.

Overnight the Westpac Life Saver #RescueHelicopter was called to the #NymboidaRiver after a Kayaker had set off his epirb. The helicopter winch inserted a #NSWAmbulance paramedic who waited until first light in the bush. The helicopter went to #Grafton until the weather improved and at first light returned and winch extracted the male who had hypothermia. The patient was flown to Grafton Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Over the weekend, the Westpac Life Saver #RescueHelicopter was tasked to a single vehicle rollover at #CastleDoyle, south east of #Armidale with 4 occupants in the vehicle. The helicopter transported two teenagers to John Hunter Hospital in #Newcastle, a female and male with multiple injuries, both were reported to be in a serious condition. #HereForYou #FreeService #CommunityOwned

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked this afternoon to Lower Creek approx 30nm east southeast of Armidale for a male who was injured in a motorcycle accident. He was flown to Coffs Harbour Hospital in a stable condition with lower limb injuries.
