Dog bed takeover. Eve.❤️ Baby Eve was luckily rescued just hours old from a paddock. Eve was found alone, freezing and calling out for her mum. She was surrounded by dead lambs in the paddock. Thanks to her rescuer who cared for Eve before she came here, she survived. Loving sanctuary life now.

The sanctuary location is officially in drought. All the rescue animals are 100% on hay and feed as we have no grass in the paddocks. Bubbles the rescue piglet was found on a rural highway just a few hours old. Her rescuers, Hannah and Justin, found her running between cars, picked her up and took her home and then off to the vets for a check-up. They then went about finding her a forever home, a week later Bubbles was at Where Pigs Fly. 🐷❤️ Hannah and Justin remain a big part of Bubbles' life. Celebrating her 6 month birthday yesterday, they made Bubbles an awesome birthday cake and, like all good birthday girls, she shared it with her BFF Seamus. #bekindtoall #friendsnotfood

Humans connecting with farmed animals is the heartbeat of the sanctuary. Beautiful Bubbles is six mths old today. 🎂 We know Bubbles is much loved and her story followed by many worldwide. Bubbles is seen as someone, not something. She has a name. One of the lucky ones. Every time we allow ourselves to see farmed animals as individuals, they capture our hearts. Yet all farmed animals are as unique and special as Bubbles but somehow society is indifferent to their suffering and death. We see them as products. If you still eat animals, ask yourself why. Whatever your reasoning is, replace it with Bubbles' smiling face and ask yourself again and again and again. For all animals and for Bubbles, make the connection and please make kinder choices. 'Harriet's Chariot' was finished today.❤️ Hattie's (RIP) portrait is printed on both sides so there is no way you can miss her beautiful snout. Heartfelt gratitude to the Animal Guardians Foundation for a grant to purchase the animal transporter for our rescue work. Today. Molly can hear a feed bucket from miles away. Used as bait for pig-hunting dogs, Molly's ears were ripped off and she had large sores over her body when found. The absolute terror and pain she would have gone through is heartbreaking. Doesn't stop Molly living life to the full though. Three months at WPF. Happy days. #someonenotsomething

Rescue lambs, Davis and Scarlett, had a sleepover at WPF last night on their way to Farm Animal Rescue in Qld. Five-day-old Scarlett was found alone just hours old fighting infection and the freezing elements. Four-day-old Davis was born at a salesyard. He was found covered in excrement and filth, being trampled on by frightened sheep. His mother nowhere in sight.
