William Carey Christian School

It is a great school with great education, atmosphere, teachers and students but the only problem is bags, the bags are really heavy and they do not provide lockers, but otherwise it is a wonderful and incredible school

I was an ex-student of WCCS, and studied there for almost 7 years, so I have a lot of experience with this school. It will also be a long review.
First off, the school has great facilities. The computers and tablets are new and fast, and the buildings are solid and modern. The school is also quite big and spacious.
Secondly, the school is very focused on disciplining children and building their foundation. It is also very enthusiastic on teaching the Bible.
That is it for its pros. Their are many cons.
-REALLY EXPENSIVE. The fees are outrageous. High school fees are crazy, almost 9000 a year for ONE student. Prices slowly rise every year.
-Uniform keeps changing, which is obviously done to make more money by making parents spend a fortune on clothing.
-Not all of the students are good. Some are quite lazy and rude, and are not serious on their studies.
-Teachers are terrible. They go on the phones all the time and really are here for the high pay. They teach barely anything and can be very bias as well.
-Academics are by far the worse. So behind in everything, i remember some year 6 students not remembering their 12x timetables due to the poor teaching. When i was in year 6, I was learning how to do area...
Overall, if you want children to have a good foundation in terms of behaviour and Christianity, go ahead. Its pretty good. But if you want high academic standing, dont think twice. Also, I recommend you have a high pay to enrol your children, prices keep rising and the school is making you pay more for uniform.

Early on in my children's education, I made a big mistake and chose a school that crushed them, rather than helped them to grow and reach their full potential. So, in looking for a new school, especially heading into high school years, I was very careful to choose wisely. William Carey Christian School, I am so thankful I found you! Well supported staff, great range of activities, a wonderful learning support unit as well as gifted and talented opportunities, the Bible taught by word and action in a caring environment, a nurse on site..... there are so many excellent things about this school, there isn't room to write them all. Thank you William Carey for giving my children such a well rounded education and a great start in life.
