After having a less than desirable experience with my engagement ring, my partner and I were a little apprehensive when we set out to remodel my engagement ring and have wedding bands made for the two of us. We had heard good things about the team at Williams, we were definitely not let down. The team at Williams have gave us above and beyond personalised and friendly service. I have been a customer of Williams The Jewellers since the shop was where the Junction Hotel now stands & they have always been curteous, polite and professional. Mark & the jewellers there are absolute craftsmen that have always exceeded my expectations. Every piece they have made for me or my family has been amazing, I cannot fault their work or attitude to me as a customer. I wouldn’t think of ever going anywhere else as the service from Vanessa & the staff & the products from the jewellers are second to none.

I had the worse retail experience of my life here.
I went in Monday for a Certificate of Appraisal and cleaning of a ring, my 82yr old Mum wanted me to help her sell. Arrived Monday, they told me to come back anytime Wednesday to collect. As instructed, I returned Wednesday afternoon, with Mum waiting for me in car. Was informed the ring wasn't ready, due to him saying he had a 3-week backlog of Appraisal's to get through (had just driven Mum there especially, from Swansea to The Junction to pick up ring and assessment. We had to go back to Swansea empty-handed). Arranged to return Thursday. Arrived Thursday afternoon. Could not see the carat value of the Sapphire on Assessment; which is what I specifically requested on typed note of requirements handed over to them; the person behind the counter didn't even bother checking for its inclusion in the Assessment. Frustrated that I had to go out again empty-handed and being forced to return. The young woman behind counter (who I regard as arrogant and cheeky) was fully aware of my frustration as I left. I left her and had almost reached the opposite wall's exit when she shouted in a cheeky manner, in front of her colleague: "Have a nice day!", to which I responded, in my anger: "Don't say that!".
So, returned late afternoon Friday. Just wanted to collect the ring and Assessment, pay and get out. I did so, without even looking at the ring or Assessment. I payed $75.00 took my items and left. Got back to my car and looked at the order envelope containing the ring. On the near-blank back of the envelope, someone had scribbled, under the Workshop Specifications header ...... "Have a nice DAY!" (photo of this attached; the handwriting will reveal the author).
Would be keen to know of anyone else who has suffered this sort of nonsense from here. My Mum and I were disgusted and, had we known, would have chosen any other Jeweller than this one. Horrible experience from Monday to Friday. Won't add to his workload or 'inflict' this paying customer here ever again. On a positive note, I would suggest this business informs customers of this difficulty meeting Assessment backlogs, to avoid this unpleasantness again. If the ring and Assessment had been ready when I was instructed to return, then you would not be reading this and, if any, a positive review instead.
