Wise Wombat

Wise Wombat makes hand-crafted jewellery with love, with a focus on upcycling and recycling old materials such as sterling silver and gemstones.

My name is Wise Wombat and I am a one-wombat band working after hours in my burrow. I started making jewellery as a young girl when I was given a beaded hairclip that one day broke. From that hairclip, I started beading by re-using those beads to make a bracelet. Eventually I ventured out into silversmithing and jewellery designing. I have always cared about the environment and try to reuse, upcycle, and recycle in every part of my daily life. My business combines my love of jewellery and caring for nature. My jewellery is made with recycled sterling silver, upcycled jewellery (one-off finds that people don't wear anymore or are going to dispose of), and perhaps a combination of both. A lot of the jewellery I make has something old made into something new and beautiful, just for you. Wise Wombat Jewellery is described as beautiful, responsible, and one-of-a-kind.
