Our team comes from a diverse professional background including social work, psychological and sociological studies. This means whilst maintaining a passionate and ambitious attitude with the other-side, we maintain a down-to-earth and calm way of thinking with our clients.

We use simple and easy-to-understand terms to explain the relevant law and legal process to our clients.

Many of our team members are also fluent in several difference, languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Italian, Arabic, Greek and Turkish.

Issa Rabaya, Director and Lawyer at Withstand Lawyers provides a solid wealth of experience surrounding common law. With previous history practicing at the largest litigation law firm in Australia, Issa understands the difficulties involved in adverse events.

He understands that in a sudden minute ones world can change entirely. With that in mind he achieves maximum compensation entitlement whilst providing simple to understand legal advice with efficiency and productivity.

Issa also has a deep interest for defending clients who have been charged with criminal offences, from simple traffic charges to large drug distribution and manufacture, kidnapping, armed robbery, violent assault, fraud and white collar crimes.

Grace Burger joins Withstand Lawyers as Special Counsel and Director with over 27 years experience as a Lawyer both in private practice and currently as General Counsel in the Retail Sector.

Grace has solid expertise in all aspects of commercial and corporate practice, commercial litigation, retail and commercial leasing and real property law and practice.

She has developed a passion for alternative dispute resolution and collaborative law as a means of obtaining excellent commercial and expedient outcomes for clients in all jurisdictions.

Her approach is dynamic and collaborative which clients find engaging and demystifying and ultimately adding value to their core business by producing expeditious and commercially driven outcomes.
