A great day to be working in the sunshine.
Together we installed 100 native wildflower plants in the restoration zone at the Wivenhoe Conservation Area this morning.
Since the establishment of the Wivenhoe Conservation Landcare group we have put in over 5,000 volunteer installed plants!
... We also got to have a look at a great picture Marg took of a huge Lace Monitor on site, thanks for showing us!
People power!

Myriads of wildlife habitat boxes to be installed throughout the conservation area, much needed homes to help us improve biodiversity 👌🏻

Bringing back rare and endangered species, this is a tray of very special seedlings, they are Camden White Gums (Eucalyptus benthamii). An endangered gum tree that is endemic to our region. The seed was collected and the seed grown by our on site contractors. They will be planted on site when they have grown up a little more #conservation
