Wollongong Backpackers Keiraleagh

My daughter and I went to Wollongong for the Elton John concert. Very impressed with the staff, amenities and the ensuite bathroom was exquisite!! Would definitely recommend to friends!!

Decent place, decent stay experience and has a communal kitchen.

Fab place. Really chilled out vibe with awesome outdoor area, owner is really cool and easy-going. Loved it so much I came back after my travels. Loved it.

Place has a lovely lay back environment that doesn't have the regimentation of other hostels, the back garden made you feel like you were in Bali i really felt at home and stayed much longer than i booked. The location was great could walk to anything that i needed beach,town etc
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
I had a blast staying there they allowed you the freedom to live a little while on the premises

I use this place a lot find that it is a friendly place with a Bali feel and best prices.

The place is a hole. The kitchen is covered in insects, the "outside lounge area" is a patio covered in a dodgey tarp.

Room looks dingy and access to toilets is scary with dim lit paths. I wouldn't recommend.

The worst hostel I've ever been to. It's filthy, the kitchen is always left in a mess and the staff aren't helpful or friendly. Upon check-in they take your money, give you your key then disappear, you have to find your own room. There's 6 dogs roaming around where ever they want urinating and pooing everywhere and at first they're not friendly. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone

This is the worst hostel I have stayed at. The room was okay and the mattress was fine, but the people that stayed there (some of them had been living there for months) liked to party loud until 3 am, so if you do not bring earplugs it is close to impossible to sleep.
They guy who checked us in was so weird and was intoxicated by either alcohol or drugs.
The kitchen gear is crap and there is a lot of flies. The place was under construction so there was only two showers.

But the worst thing was the poo we found on the carpet.
