New to town so looking for a new GP. Waited for over an hour only to be seen by a very rude and abrupt doctor who stunk of cigarettes as did his room. He wasn't concerned about my medical condition, he just wrote me out the script that I asked for without investigation. Then when I informed him of my huge weightloss and my concern about not being able to lose anymore he mocked me and said "stop eating! Look at all the Prisoners of War..... they were all skinny!" Chuckling to himself. This is not funny.
I also tried to talk to him about a very personal matter that is emotionally affecting me only to be told to "get over it. You are alive aren't you?" I will never step foot into this practice again. Absolutely disgusted as I left in tears.

I have been here many times and have always been happy with the service. Reception staff are more often than not friendly and helpful. The doctors have always been professional efficient. I rarely wait more than 20min, in instances where the wait is longer reception staff have informed me of this and I have been able to run errands elsewhere in town and come back.

I have unfortunately had no choice but to stand at the end of a 2+ hour line in order to be seen by a GP.

This medical centre provides individuals with a quick, one off appointment with a GP whom they will likely not see again unless specifically requested at a subsequent appointment. Prescriptions for medications other than antibiotics or mild pain killers will not be issued.

It is a condition of attending the Medical Centre that no benzodiazepines / opiates will be prescribed irrespective of clinical need.

It is genuinely a sad time when patients are viewed as drug addicts, despite any evidence provided stating the opposite.

All Medicare card holders are bulk billed and the average time spent with your doctor will likely fall within 5 minutes.

This is nothing more than a centre for a quick doctors certificate or prescription for a non-harmful medication. If you want to be treated as a genuine patient with genuine health problems; attend any of the 7 other medical centres located within walking distance.

Worst medical centre I've been too. Receptionist upstairs rude all recpetionists downstairs even worse. Doctors just walk around like they have all the time in the world while both areas fill up with patients. Upstairs area, 4 doctors upstairs and 5 people waiting After waiting in upstairs reception for nearly an hour and being next to go in they sent me downstairs assuring me I'd be next in. 20 minutes later I've looked upstairs to find the majority of people that I saw come after me were gone and I'm still waiting downstairs. Never going again.

Couldn't thank the reception staff enough, for the comforting words and chat. Every time I attend the centre, am treated wonderfully. Also thank you to the Dr that saves my life here!

I was to the point of tears.
How could a doctor hinted you that you were wasting public health source? ? How could a doctor say " I don't know if you pay tax or not" ??? Of course I paid my tax and I deserve to enjoy public health service!
I really don't want to take it too personally but I won't go here again.
