Woolworths Leichhardt Marketplace

Great place but it really should be open at 8am like every other Woolworths.

I shopped there Wednesday night. I bought what I needed but when I got home I realised I'd left one of my shopping bags behind. I called the store straight away as I'd just moved 40 minutes away from Leichardt and I didn't want to drive back unless they had my shopping there, but no one picked up. I called the next morning and I was put through to the front of the store but again no one picked up the phone. So Thursday night I was in the area and drove past about 9.30 pm but they were closed. Friday morning I called, no one answered. Despite all the other ways we're connected today, businesses need to pick up the phone when a customer calls them. A quick phone call is still the most efficient way to resolve small problems.

As soon as I finished writing this, I called the store again and this time someone picked up and they had my groceries. The person who answered was very friendly and helpful. It took 2 minutes and 25 seconds to resolve this issue but I was becoming a disgruntled customer after 3 days of calls until someone picked up the phone and the matter was resolved.

Good fruit and vegetables. And great for vegan alternatives also. Even have 2 types of no egg mayo!

Really good shopping center.

Great stop to pick up an iced coffee for lunch.

Woolies is woolies. There were a suitable number checkouts open I was there so only had to wait for one person.

Good range (large store). Open until 9 most nights.

Decent selection, excellent fresh produce area!! Store is laid out well. Marred only by the fact that the shopping centre closes annoyingly early on Sundays.

Standard Woolies store - always has what I need. Be aware that there are no travellators - so will need to push shopping trolley up various ramps to get to roof carpark or a good few minutes walk to get down to the underground carpark - so pick wisely. Has a fresh sushi-maker shop inside.

Worst opening hours. Same opening times as a remote community. 6 pm Saturday night and it's shut. We are 5 km from the CBD....it's like I'm living in the third world.
